Oh man, great pistol... I have an M&P22, 40c, and Bodyguard 380...I'm very close on a 15-22 MOE. After that, I only need a 45FS and Governor to complete the collection...

The only one I balk at a bit is the Gov; it just seems pricey for what seems like a novelty revolver.

Just curious, what's your draw to the Gov?

thanks boss, as for the governor just when i saw it i wanted it.The looks of it just calls out my name lol...

You haven't even shot it yet and want to do a trigger job?Make sure it works so after you modify it if something goes wrong you will know where to look. You may be surprised and after a couple hundred rounds realize that it is pretty darn good just the way it is.I have 2 M&P 45s no mods to either one.None needed.Save your money and buy ammo.

My FS is my only M&P at the moment, but its also my favorite pistol, and a I have a few to choose from. As far as your trigger goes, lube the contact points with a synthetic lube and dry fire it (in a safe manner, of course), coupled with range time. It will smooth out to a degree on its own. As for sights, I have Heinie Ledge Straight 8s on mine.

The only M&P i own is tge full size 45. I love it!

Dont do anything to it until you put about 500 rounds though it. When you shoot it the internal parts start to smooth out.

My has a full Apex trigger kit and night sights .....but i bought it that way. Awesome trigger

Hey don't forget that M&P.45 will shoot shotshells too.. At close range I think they will do the job almost as good as a
.410 shot shell.. I never had a intrest in a Govenor or Judge I'm a bottom feeder kind a guy though I do like a good single action westen 6 shooter.. George

Oh if that were only true.... :p

You are just beginning! I can assure you when you get the 15/22 you will move to the dark side and desire more black guns. ;)

I'm trying to talk the wife into letting me by two new ones for a investment. I don't think I can lose a dime as I know a dealer who is selling all he get's under MSRP with 25 new Black gun's ariving today.. Who knows maybe spoken for.. Can't get there today anyway..I don't think we will see pricing on new guns or ammo at or below where we were a year ago.. what do you all think? george

Nope. I've lived through a few of these lean times, and although things will return to some semblance of normal, the prices will be higher.

Bought a 4" full size .45 about a month ago, very happy with it. Nice purchase. I guess I am not as "trigger" picky as some, as I am happy with the way mine is out of box. No, it's not one of my 1911's, but I can hit what I aim at, and it seems to have a nice reset.... I have about 200 rds through it so far. Shooting 200gr Sierra's on top of 5.3gr of Bullseye.

Congrats on a great pistol. :-)
