Just got it in the mail today,,, got it of of eBay

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

any way the QD lever locks down tight and the push button to fold it locks it folded and down,,,,,,,, you rotate the bipod legs to deploy them,,,,, it is also very comfortable in the hand,,, much more so than the standard grip pod that I once owned in the past

It seem to be built very tough and has some weight to it (not excessively so),,, seems like it will last pretty well,,,,

only thing IM changing is the spring that deploys the legs is super strong and hard to return them,, so ill be cutting one coil at a time till I get it where I like it....... All in all IM very happy with it,,,

ask away if there is some thing I didn't answer or a pic of some thing not shown

How sturdy are the bipod legs? I've ordered a grip pod of ebay before and it was total junk. This has me intrigued with the folding feature. Thanks

They seem pretty solid,,, and there is some slight side to side play when rested on the legs,,,,,, but I like that cause it allows me to adjust for cant all on my own,,, but there isn't much wiggle at all,, just a few degrees

with them deployed i can press hard enouhg that i worry about the rifle and the leggs show no sign that they would give first

thanks for the pictures, I ordered mine last night after seeing your 15-22. I was debating between this type and just a forward grip by itself. After thinking about it i chose this so that my kids can shoot without the weight of the weapon getting to there arms and missing the target. Its all about fun for them at this age, also helps zeroing in your sights.

Share your thoughts when you receive yours if you don't mind. The more positive reviews the more convinced I'll be.:D

GripPod the company does not make this grip. Notice it doesn't say "GripPod" anywhere in the auction.

Grip Pods

They only make the "standard' one you are talking about, of which.....

...there are many counterfeit clones of the actual GripPod on ebay and of the ones I've seen are of cheaper quality and are flimsier than the original.

All that said, this still looks like an interesting grip, even if it looks like a weird hybrid of the GripPod and a UTG folding grip.

I know,,,,, is a $16 airsoft grip pod that's perfect for our lil .22s that will never see combat or need to be any type of over kill,,,,,

IM sure there are a few other member here who will some day/or have taken there 15-22 out on a hike and honestly hunted with it,,,,, I do and this serves me very well

So I know it will work wonders for most of the shooters here who are limited to a gun range and do not need a battle ready extra heavy duty items

Its
Affordable
Comfortable
Can be folded or quickly removed for storage in a "range" bag
Had bipod built in
Was recommended for a .22lr not a .308 or bigger

This isn't a knock off of any thing,,, its, its own item, different from the rest and the main selling point for me is that not every one has it,,,,,, I like to be a lil different

How long is it with the leg's extended?

On a side note,,,, I feel all vertical grips should have a quick release,,, that's pretty nice to have

9" from counter top to bottom of the rail it would be mounted on

thanks for the picture. I wanted to see if it's as long as the bipod I have on mine. My son shoots it alot and needs the bipod to stablilze the gun more but the 25 round mag tends to get in the way. With the bipod I have now it's just barely long enough fully extended.

Thanks

Decided to go with this as well, nice price for one of these, and I really wanted the finger grooves as apposed to the circular grooves. Thanks for the link and pics

Thanks for the good review and pics. i just ordered me one also today for my new M&P15-22 MOE that I just bought last week. Can't beat the price.

So, day 1 of getting this, scratch that, hour one, second time deploying legs, both snapped off! Also this thing is wiggly as all hell. Could have shipped it to florida for a return and waited for another 3 weeks for another from xhina but ended up just taking out the internals, using a bottle cap as a bottom and using it as a storage compartment. Its not complete garbage, but it sure is cheap. Oh and not sure if its the laser or the grip, but the pressure pad does not fit right.
