This karma is for the folks just starting out with reloading and don't have a press yet. I will donate my old Pacific 007 press to one of the new loaders that posts in this thread, shipping included to any state which I can use the standard USPS flat rate shipping on, which I think is all 50 states. Per a PM I received about checking to see if the press would fit in a flat rate box, I found that if I removed the handle it will fit into a large flat rate box. Now this press isn't new, but still works well and you can still get parts for it, as the same basic press that has been slightly updated to take the LnL bushings is still being sold by Hornady as the LnL Classic.

The press comes with 2 primer arms, one set up for small primers and the other set up for large primers. It does not have the auto primer feed, but I am pretty sure the LnL Classic auto primer feed should work with this press if the person who wins the karma wants to upgrade the priming system later.

I am asking for people just getting into reloading to post in this thread, to make it easier for me to set up a random sequence generator to pick the winner, from random.com. This karma will run for a week, until 7-11-19 by 24:00 hrs CDT and the drawing will be done the following day. Once the winner has sent me their shipping information, I will pack up the press and send it on to him or her.

I figure that since I replaced this press with a Redding T-7, I should pass it along to someone who could use it to start off reloading. But, there is nothing I can do with the T-7 that I couldn't do with this single stage press.

So, good luck and you new reloaders, post up in the thread. :)

Jim

Jim:

Please allow for me to start the replies for your very generous Karma.....

I do not currently re-load, but with the cost of factory ammunition and the amount of time that I've been spending at the range as of late, this might just be the ticket to get me started.

Thanks in advance for the chance to win....

Richard (aka "MetalMan")

Thank you very much for this great giveaway. I am new to guns and reloading. Yes, I would like a press like that. However, there have been several wonderful people of this forum that have offered me help. Thanks to the great help I have a Lee Loader and now a Lee hand press on the way. I would not feel right including myself in this giveaway.

Muddocktor, YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!! Guys like you make this forum the best on the WWW!!! I hope some one chimes in and lets you make their day!!!! All the best to you!!!!

It makes me smile to see this, Jim. I love the fact that most shooters are givers. We share what we have with other shooters. You're exhibiting the very best of that culture. Good on ya!

BTW: Please don't enter my name in the drawing. I've been handloading for decades and have more stuff than I need.

I don't need it either, because I already have one! Great solid O-press that can reload the largest calibers. I could still reload if I didn't have my Dillon 550, but I couldn't do it without my single-stage. Great and generous karma! By the way, mine needed an adapter for the shell holder, and Hornady sent one free of charge.

And a Monday bump back to the top for anyone interested in getting into reloading with a good "O" type press.

OK, with only 2 posts here that qualify for choosing the winner, I went ahead and assigned 5 numbers each for MetalMan, and deno56. Since MetalMan posted first, I assigned him 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 and deno56 gets 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.

I then went to random.org and used their sequence generator and the top number chosen was counted as winner and I did a best of 7 as the winner, to try to make this as random as possible.

Now, with all that said, the winner is:

MetalMan

Richard, let me know all your mailing particulars by PM. I will get it out to you in about a week, as I had a sudden job come up late Wednesday evening and I'm about 180 miles away from the house until next Thursday. So you will get the press, but it will take a week before I can ship it out to you.

Jim

Dear Jim:

Thank you so much for your generosity in offering this Karma!!!

I will forward "ship to" information via PM and will advise receipt.

I'll look forward to putting this press to very good use.

Regards,
Richard
