New Remington Shotgun Ammo

I would rather use a bean bag if close enough.

I recall a long ago incident down biku324s way. A bunch of official folks arrived at the sheep camp of a Basque shepherd and questioned him about shooting at USAF planes.

He responded that he only shot at planes that were buzzing his flocks and scattering sheep all over the place. The Air Force folks stated that the pilot (he was there) in question did no such things and showed him a picture of an F86 with at bullet hole in the side. Pics of both sides showed the slug went straight through at about the same height. IIRC, ahead of the pilot.

When showed the photos, the shepherd asked: "If the plane was way up in the air, how come the bullet went through the side of the plane?"

Brief moment of silence, followed by all the official folks looking at the photos, then the pilot. Followed by an apology, a promise it wouldn't happen again and they left.

Should have hired that dude as a gunnery instructor.

This is something I actually witnessed. I was at a Skeet shoot...Big one. Some fellow was flying a really annoying RC airplane right over the skeet fields. It must gotten low on fuel cause it left 20 minutes later here it was again. Well it went by a bunch of the big guys...from NY. 2nd time it buzzed 'em they were at station 8...evidently they had talked with the referee...when it came down the line..they blasted it...hell they were All Americans...they didn't miss. I think the ref gave 'em all an X for their final target

The best part of it was the shoot was called the Great Eastern...2nd largest skeet shoot in the US after the World Shoot. I got in a shootoff with 47 other 100 straights in the 20 ga
