Cabela's sends me a coupon for 20% off for being a club member. Drive 1 hour to Hamburg. Take number and stand in line 1 hour for next available salesman. Request to see model no lock or mag disconnect. They tell me all their models have locks. Ask him to look for product 209301, finds one but shows me circle with L stamp. It has the hole but it is plugged and no key in box. No mag disconnect either. Figure salesman confused so I bought it. Good price,

M&P 9 list price 579.99

Sale price 499.99
Less 100.00 Club Discount
Less 33.25 Club points
Total 365.75

OTD with tax and check fee 393.00

Hope it shoots as good as everyone says.

You did VERY well! Now make that you shoot it a lot and dry fire it even more. You will not believe how much that improves your trigger. Too many people buy one and then think that they have to send it out for an action job. Do it yourself, one round at a time. My M&P has over 8000 rounds down range and just keeps on getting better. Not to mention I am getting better with all of the practice as well. One of the Win-Win situations.
You will like this gun a lot! Good Job!

WOW! Wish I had that membership right about now. Summit Racing is sending out coupons like that through email. I wonder if I signed up now how long it would take to get my first 20% coupon....hmm......

Good thing you had the product number to get the gun you wanted. Nothing against Cabelas, but they have such a huge inventory, I'm sure its hard for their sales people to keep track of every model of every make.

Congrats, and happy shooting!

Oh, and welcome to the forum too.
