New Scope

I just got my optics and while I haven't been to the range yet, this seems like a pretty well built scope...great for the price. UTG 3-9X32 New Gen. compact CQB
Reviews pretty well on Amazon. My reticles were vertical, although several complaints were that they were canted 5 degrees. The parallax and power adjustment is a bit stiff. I needed a 1 inch riser to get eye relief over my MOE BUS....which necessitates removing the riser to break open the upper. Defeats the quick detach, which incidentally works fine and I see no reason why it won't keep zero pretty well removing the riser....we'll see. Stay tuned.

I have a UTG 3x12 swat scope that I use from time to time, and its a good product. I can remove it, put my red dot on, then reinstall it a month later and it is still zeroed. Optics are clear and its a well built scope for the price range. You will be happy.

Got mine through this amazon site, and I think it may have come from Optics Planet. Delivery took 6 weeks....so watch for that before you punch the buy button.

Oh, and by the way...I just decided a 1/2 riser will work but get 10 slots or less, or you will have to remove the riser to clean your rifle.

Here's a photo of my Leapers/UTG 3x9 scope mounted on an 8-slot 1/2" riser. The scope clears the rear Magpul MBUS just fine.

BTW, an excellent scope for the money.

Is there any riser you can use with this scope that will also allow the use of the MBUS sights without removing the scope by sighting under the scope?

Nope...not that I can find. Since one inch was not nearly high enough, I'm bringing back down to 1/2 inch. Shorter riser will allow use of quick detach rings on this scope though, and still leave riser installed to break action open between upper and lower.

Range report

Took the bug buster to the range. Very happy. For the money...best glass I own...suggest 8 to 10 slot 1/2 inch riser.
