I'd suggest that you go forward with the "break in shooting," if you haven't done so by now. you are going to do it anyway & with it already done (parts worn in that is ) you might be helping the Smith folks to get you up & running.
I can almost see a note enclosed when they send it back..."We pretty much have your problem solved let us know if you have any problems after you break it in".
