1) Does anyone ever get tired of watching Jerry Miculek? I sure don't. Here he reviews the new Equalizer 9mm, an extension of the EZ line.

2) Does anyone like a grip safety? I sure don't, with my big old hands it's clumsy and slow to grab.. It's a non-starter for me on the Equalizer. I had an EZ and gave it away to a lady with arthritis and small hands.

But I sure enjoy watching Jerry review guns. What a hoot he is ! He seems like the kind of guy any of us would enjoy chatting with down at the range. Those forearms ... are like horse legs.

I do have the new Equalizer and so far, so good for the first 300 or so rounds. The grip and/or the grip safety on this is much better than the orginal EZ 9mm. My sister and a goof friend both have the orginal EZ and because I have longer than normal fingers, I cannot depress the grip safety on both of those guns. Again with this Equalizer I have not had any problems.
I did meet and talk with Jerry Miculak when he did a demonstration at one of our LGS about 15 or 20 years ago. He is a very nice person and easy to converse with.

I also picked up the new equalizer and after 500 or so rounds it's a solid keeper. Dont mind the grip safety and don't have the slide safety. So far it's pretty dead on using the iron sites. It's size is awesome not too small to too larger for me. My local gun shop is selling them like crazy so far. No misfires or failure to feed at all

I don't pay much attention to guys that are promoting a brand like jerry . Hes a s&w handgun guy thru and thru and there always the greatest there is knowing darn well most have been hand built just for jerry to test and promote.

As for m&p's . I do like and carry a M&P full size pistol and have a compact I may carry one day but have no interest s&w ez single, equalizer. Neighbor has a ez in 380 and equalizer and I truly dislike both designs after installing a holosun 507K on one and then had to zero it for him and just fire a few rounds from the 380 EZ . That grip is far more vertical grip than normal pistols and reminds me of the Tokarev grip angle. Sort of an opposite of a glock grip angle .

Note the difference in the link below to a m&p compact 3.6" 9mm
