As many on this forum know, I appreciate smooth antler stocks. Not a fan of bark or the popcorn look or feel. Just prefer the smooth feel and normally that means a monochromatic color.

This STUNNING pair is made from above average density antler. I have handcrafted these for a VERY comfortable CONTOURED hold in average hands (little + or -). They are VERY precisely fitted to my M629-1. They have a nicely polished finish...
I looked at the images and they spoke to me. Enough that I jumped on them. When they arrived, I fully expected to be disappointed and find numerous bark fissures. That was NOT the case! These stocks are smooth as the proverbial baby's bottom and the color is unique!

I am not sure where these will finally end up but for now, they are on one of my ACP carry revolvers, this one a Model 22-4.

First the old stocks,

Showing a bit of age and quite nice, in my opinion.

Now, the new ones.

They fit this revolver well and the fit in my hand is sublime. The color is appealing but a bit stark. While these may end up on a different revolver, perhaps a Model 25-2, I intend to carry them for a while to help speed up how they mellow.

But, absolutely superb!

Kudos to Ken. He produces amazing stocks.
