Just bought this mp 15 about 2 weeks ago.
I have shot over 2000 rounds so far and I have not had one missfire or failure to eject.
I just put a leapers red/green dot on with a uag weaver-picatinny low-profile 1/2 riser mount.
On the money.
Thanks to all you on this forum.
You have all been a great help.:)

Wow, 2k rounds in 2 weeks huh? Im at "around 2500 or 3k myself, and Ive had the 15 22 since mid July! What makes this even sadder is my local gun range is KNOB CREEK! I have NO excuse to not go shooting more as its at most 30 minutes from my home lol.

The gun club i belong to is only about 5 min from my home.
Plus I am on vacation so I have the time to shoot now.

Welcome to the Forum.

Welcome to the forum! I'm a new gun owner myself (have shot firearms for years but never got around to getting one myself until now). The folks here have been awesome and so helpful to me. I'm grateful. The 15-22 is my first rifle and I am having such a great time with it. Fortunately I have a nice outdoor range just 5 minutes from my apartment, so I have a convenient place to shoot.

Good luck with "accessorizing" your new rifle and we would love to see pics of it when you get it all "tricked out".:)

Yep true true! I love how the AR platform rifle is the same in its base form, yet each person's rifle can be 100% different than the next. I have 2 different .223's and each one is different from the other in many ways.. well here see for yourself. This is the main reason( other than the fun factor/stopping power/distance shooting) That I LOVE the AR. and thats for its many MANNYYYYY options. Im gonna change out the round tube hand gaurd for a quad rail system on my mid length with the Eotech holo-sight soon. And then go with Magpul XTM foliage, FDE,OD covers for a good woodland camo look as Im in the hills of Ky. And a AFG Version 2 and it will be done.. for now lol.

I'm glad you are enjoying your new boom stick. Congats on the round count, that's my kind of vacation ;)

Welcome to the Forum, nice to hear your 15-22 is running well. Now get yourself a nice barrel nut wrench to keep a check on your barrel nut during regular maintance (ShooWrench, hint, hint). Nice to have you here, Shoo

You guys are like used car salesmen haha. I got a shoowrench, its totally worth it. See you went with the same optic setup as me; good choice!

Don't forget the shooboy hammer. And the tacti latch by BELT_FED
Ya gotta finish the rifle off with any of the available shrouds too.
Welcome to the madness.
Oh yeah, DownRange&Upwind, why's there a bunch of 9mil on the mat? Nice rifles BTW.

That not 9mm, thats from my .40 Glock. If you look you can see one of my mags for it on the left of the picture. But thanks for the compliment. I am actually gonna remove the tube barrel covering and add a quad rail system to my mid length .223. Then place some foliage, OD, and FDE Magpul XTM rail covers in alternating places to give a good camo look to match my surroundings, as im in the hills of Kentucky. After that gets done I am gonna use that same rifle( top of the pic) for my hunting rifle. Probably remove the Eotech 512, and put a leupold on it for deer season.

hey dont forget me:D

Yep, you are right !!! BELT_FED makes some of the nicest and finest made gun stuff I've ever seen ! Great guys here, great info, great products. You don't need much more than that. It's kind of ironic that you see guys on other Forums looking for info on their 15-22's on how to get their barrels threaded, how to remove the hand guard, how to get the barrel nut off, how to fit and where to buy accessories, etc., and you'd think they'd come to THE S&W FORUM !!! HELLO ??? LOL !!! Shoo

Awesome. Glad to hear you are happy with it. Gonna join the 15-22 club very soon, too.
