New to forum

Hello. I recently (last week) bought my first S&W - a 629. I was considering a Super Redhawk for its toughness, but I liked the Smith better. I've had limited experience with handguns but have owned several long guns since I was a kid. The 629 has been fun to shoot. I have been feeding it 180 grain Remingtons but plan to start loading cast bullets soon (I reload for most of my rifles).

My wife is getting a model 18 tomorrow she shoots the 629 too but complains about the recoil. Gotta giver her credit for trying.

Can someone tell me whe these revolvers were manufactured? The serial numbers are BNB46xx and K2934xx. Thanks.
