I just picked up this 36-1 at a local gun show today. Includes the box and paperwork. No tools. Original sales receipt from 1972($73.00). I would like more info if you all would be so kind.

Additionally should the stocks be serial number matching?

Like born in 1971-72 if I looked up correctly in the book. Nice gun, love the 3 inch versions.

Nice gun. I have a 36 no dash snub. Nice little gun. I would like to grab a 3"; I don't need one, I would just like to have one! The snub works great in a front pocket, if you need a BUG, or just more revolver. Nice grab! Congratulations.

Same here I didn't need one but could not resist getting a nickel 36 3".

A few months ago I had a choice of picking up a 36-1 no box and a 36 no dash snub with a box including all the papers and tools. The price was the same for either one.
I was struggling to choose. I ended up buying the 36 no dash with the box. I almost bought both. The 36 is a beautiful 98%.
