I finally found one I couldn't pass up. Thanks everybody from my other thread about the value of this thing.
Anyway, Just wanted to show her off. I've always wanted a model 29 but had never found the right deal until now. It's truly a thing of beauty.
It's a model 629-3 and there's not a mark on it. The turn line is there, but very very faint. Other than that it's perfect. Wooden grips don't have a scratch on them. It also came with the matching cardboard box and instruction manual.
I took it to the range during lunch and couldn't be any happier with it. (except for the cost of 44spl and magnum rounds). The gun shot very tight groups, and aside from a few trigger jerks poi was dead on.
I'll post pictures up when I get home and can take some good ones. Until then if anybody can help with the date on this thing I'd appreciate it. I know it's not super old or anything, but am just curious. Serial number is PBC0xxx.
Thanks
