I've always had a local gunsmith build my guns for me. Nelson Ford from Scottsdale,AZ has done a tremendous job for 30 years. He will give you back your gun with a superb 7 lb trigger that will bust all your caps and it will be accuarate.

A few years ago at the IRC I met Randy Lee, owner of Apex Tactical. Felt his gun with a 4 1/2 lb trigger and had to have one. Then I had to have three. Randy does excellent work. Lives in Ca and since I go there often it was a nice arangement to drop off and pick up my guns.

Always pleased and never a bad thing to say about him or his work.

Along comes these stories from back east of a new voodoo master of the ocult. Mike Carmoney. I've seen pictures of his guns but didn't believe with all the metal he was taking off that the guns would be reliable.

Last week I saw one for sale. Lucky me. I was the first to notice it on the Brian Enos board two minutes after the guy posted it. It was the 5 in V Comp and had the extra ported comp. I was the first to say "I'll take it" so after we got are FFL's together I findally ended up with that new steel case and fine revolver.

$1100 got me the V-Comp, 30 moon clips, Hogues and another type of grip, the tool to de-moon, the old hammer/spring/every part that had been taken out in case I wanted to use heavier seating primers, and 5 moon loader holders.

I've now had it for two weeks and have put 2500 rounds throgh it looking for the best load. Many of them ccome in at 1 1.2 inch to 2 inches but I want 1 inch groups at 25 yards from the rest. I now know the gun has the ability. This is with iron sights. I've got to mount my Leupold on it next and really wring it out.

Well, here she is

First gun I've ever bought that doesn't need a thing done to it. Thanks to Carmoney
