New-to-Me M66-2

Picked up my new-to-me M66-2 Thursday after MD's seven day wait.

If it's been shot outside of the factory it hasn't been much. It was dry as a bone inside. Not enough dirt/residue to make a couple of QTips dirty. Came with everything, box, paper, instructions, flyer, unopened tools. It had magnas on it by I swapped a set of checkered targets. Might get a set of Roberts Grips Zengwe(?) wood combats like the 2 1/2" shown below.

I owned no 3" K frames January 1 [edit: except my M547,] despite looking for a good six months, then reasonably priced opportunities started "falling" in my lap. Now I have six. I'll try yo get some photos of the bunch soon, and of my six M19/66s.

I find it remarkable how much more handy a 3" is than a 4".

I know you are enjoying this 3 inch gun. I'm happy for you that you found one. Those target grips came on mine as well They are comfortable to shoot. I put them on a 66-1 and my friend Tim sold me some Spegels for the 3 inch gun.

It was dry hole after dry hole for month after month… and then opportunities started popping up left and right.

Lobster, I have found everything I was after. Took a few years. You have to be persistent, and not afraid to pay a few extra dollars to get what you want, in the condition want
