As with many here, the term "need" usually doesn't apply! For the past 6 months or so, I've had a spare set of Ken's Elk grips for a K frame RB. Sitting on the bench in the fun room, they'd stare at me every time I went in there. So you can pretty much guess how this plays out. I had this idea, that in my accumulation, (not collection) that I was missing a model 10 RB snubby. Couldn't find anything local, as usual and would on occasion check the auction sites. Bid on a few, lost on all, didn't want to over spend for a revolver for the range. Wife and I are bringing our son to college last week, halfway thru PA when stopped for gas, I check my phone, one of the recent emails was a GB notice of a closing in a few hrs. I threw just over the minimum bid and set off the the rest of the trip. Arrive 6+ hrs later and settle in at our hotel, get notified I won (only bidder)! Seller shipped next day and the revolver actually beat me back to MA, at the end of the week! Just picked it up today - not a engraved presentation model, NIB, rare "dash" or anything else fancy. Just a good old usable 10-9 2" blued, pretty clean cylinder and bore, light use and a few freckles - ironically it's very tight and has both a great SA and DA trigger. I couldn't be happier! Quick wipe down and swapped the grips - a token pic and into the safe. This forum has now "cost me" 5 K frames and 3 J frames in the past 3 years! Thanks to all - Bill in MA

NICE pick up and she sure is pretty with Ken's grips!
Now, just need a range report and you'll be square.

That’s what we do.

No thanks necessary.
That's what we do best! We need the company of like individuals. Thanks for coming along peacefully.

Mine is a -5, and very well liked. Shoots well for a snub. No beauty queen but can live with it. Bob

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. Bananaman - I like the grips in pic 3 and 4! Who made those? I'm most likely just adding a BK adapter and be done, but I didn't have a spare here currently. I don't want to get another pair of grips, because that's how I ended up "justifying" this one!
Found this 64-4 last year about this time, basically NIB. Wanted some decent grips for it, ordered some Grashorn's and the aluminum adapter from Robertson's. After about 4-5 months of waiting, the set of Ken's popped up here and I grabbed them.....2 weeks later the Grashorn's showed up! Ken's fit well, but liked the more "bark" look to go with the SS and I think his look better with the blued 10 - so a win/win! Thanks again, Bill in MA

We see thing alike, I agree about the grips on the guns.
I have a blued 2" M&P from '49 and a 2" 64-2 that I'm thinking need grips just like yours. Couple more items to add to the "Want List".
