Got a text message today that a charge has been made on my Pay Pal Account (Don't have one) for $455.49 for a Bitcoin Purchase with an ID # and a +1 Phone Number to call if i don't recognize this order.....

Don't think I'll be making that call.

It was a Text Message to my phone, so I'm NOT going to try to "Forward"
it, since I'm not going to reply at all.

I get two-three phishing messages, fake invoices, and others looking for personal info every day. I don't do internet on my phone. One less thing to worry about and try to secure.

The text message posted by AugieTN above regarding "Purchase Alert....." is one I've been seeing a lot of lately. It's sad that there seem to be so many nowadays that think scamming others is a reasonable way to make money.

I recently received this email. It was too comical to delete.

I dumped Photobucket long ago after they screwed over all of their customers, also removed every image I had stored there and moved them to Imgur. I wonder what happened to those who pushed the recover your account button?

I'm getting the Photobucket inquiry almost daily. I marked it as spam so it goes straight to the ashcan. They can keep my photos cause I have them all on hard drive.
