Wow...I don't know what going on, unicorn guns raining in my lap these days. My favorite combat pistol of all time is the P22X series. I'd love to carry one. I was casually looking for a single stack which are no longer made. The 1970s/1980s P6 comes to mind. What gun it was.
Then I walk into my LGS and there it is, full set, little or unfired, 0 wear on barrel or rails, papers, box, 2 mags. I could ask this group: Should I buy....I assumed the answer would be yes, so I did. I had to cough up a little more than I would have liked: $750 out the door, but I won't sell it on for that.
A first year of the re-issue P6 type called P225-A1, made only for 4 years. Discontinued in 2019. Gray slide, black nitron frame, G10 SIG logo grips, 8+1 single stack...how cool is that. Looking for a nice Mitch Rosen or Kramer for it now to carry in style....
