I'm 26 year old Army Vet. I live an hour east of KC Missouri in a collage town called Warrensburg. I do a lot of hunting and I'm looking to getting into large and dangerous game, such as Moose and Bear. Living in Missouri, I enjoy a land full of tasty game, deer, squirrel, rabbit etc. I also fish, camp, hike and am an all around out door's-men. I'm very interested in American History and spend many of summer days at civil war, revolutionary war sites, museums and any kind of firearm related events. I served in the Army as an 88M, truck driver. Look forward to making new friends and sharing the hunt, target practice and great Camaraderie. I am now to S&W but I love the S&W quality and I plan on picking up more firearms, I just purchased a 629 3inch .44 magnum. talo. I'm sure I will get to know you all better around the forum, as the title states I am a newbie and I'm here to contribute what I can, and learn as much as possible. Thank you all!

Hello Hatchet-Matt, welcome aboard & a big THANKS for Your Service to our Country!!

Interesting username.
During the last half of the 70's & first half of the 80's my nickname was Hatchet Jack! :)

I used to carry Hatchet's concealed, which I could throw like the dicken's, in pockets I had sewn inside of my coat.
Later I switched over to Tomahawks proper.

Ah, the good old crazy days.......

The way you came about your name is way more authentic than mine. I picked mine up from the movie Jeremiah Johnson. The old feller who was frozen to a tree. His nick name was Hatchet. Thanks for the warm welcome, Im enjoy tossing Tomahawks around myself.

Greetings from Southern Illinois. Be prepared to spend a lot of time in late night sessions going through the posts and archives on this forum. There is a lot of knowledge and good people here.
