Started viewing "Damnation" on Nexflix. Series deals with 1931 farmer strike in Iowa and the Coal Miner strike in Kentucky.

Season one has some firearm mistakes that has weapons not available in 1931.

That alone will make me check it out.

If you like him as a creepy bad guy (which he definitely does best), check out the first season of “Tin Star”, a strange Canadian series on Amazon.

Season One has the "Assassin" from Wyoming using a M1911 with Novak Sights (1931 ?)

The "Preacher" has a S&W M&P 5" which He continues to one hand slap the cylinder closed ??

Background folks are using a number of SMLE #3s and #4s.

In one of the first episodes the Sheriff draws from a shoulder holster what appears to be a SS Ruger GP-100 with a short barrel ?

In later episodes it seems that the show's armorers have got the correct period weapons correct.
