Congratulations on a nice acquisition...but we need proof. Where's the pictures? We really like photos. Did you get the mahogany presentation case and goodies with your revolver? I think that Mbrgr1 is correct with the 1980 manufacture of your revolver, but maybe mid-1980. I have a nickel Model 29-2 from 1980 (N771902) and a 1980 nickel Model 57 (N834280). I really like the -2 versions of N-frames from the 70s and 80s. Enjoy!

Took these today. She’s a real clean gun.
I didn’t realize the side views show a reflection of my phone in the mirror like nickel finish.
I’m pleased with my $900 purchase.

I find it interesting that it seems about half have the red ramp front sight and about half do not. The red ramp is much easier to shoot!

Mine has the red front ramp and the white outline sight on the rear.
Here is one I picked up at a Cabela's store several years ago. $729.11 OTD with un-labeled blue box, papers and tools. S/N N674280 1980?
