Nickle model 39-2 values

Now I'm interested in a nickel 39-2. No box or paperwork. Just one magazine. Not sure if it's factory or aftermarket. It looks very good. What is a good price for it. The owner is asking $700. I thought that was a little high. I know there are plenty of guys here that know a good bit about these and the going price. Any help would be appreciated.

Do a search of completed sales on Gunbroker. That will tell you what the market is.

$700 would be top dollar for hi condition 39-2 Nickel with one magazine
No box, docs, etc. I’ve never run across aftermarket nickel job on a 39
if it was it would doc price hard, but I wouldn’t know percentage.

Hello Mr. Hog, mag can be quite significant. Post a Sn. I have a few factory nickels in the box. All my mags are factory. Some have a nickel base plate. I have never seen a nickel mag body. Some had blue steel X followers. Can you post a pic.

Nickel 39s are all over the place. $500 to $900 with no rhyme or reason. 39s in general have been creeping up in recent years. If I wanted the gun, $700 wouldn't scare me off. I'd want to pay less of course, but if I was in the market I'd at least think about it.

That's a fairly high price for just a gun and one mag. Search GB or other auctions sited to compare. There are a few nice ones as we speak.
