I have three model 686 no dashes but here's one that's already been downloaded and ready to show.

OK...........I'll play........

Model 36 no dash, shipped January 1967 per Roy Jinks. Very, very clean, pristine gun, box, docs, vapor paper. Possibly unfired, estate sale, came to me after years of looking for a nice one to replace my first EDC which was the exact same Model 36, bought in West Nyack, New York in 1971. I had just received my first Carry Concealed permit which in those days had to be issued and signed by a Federal Judge, and was issued with two (2) "Purchase Permits" allowing you to buy 2 handguns. Left New York in 1974 and still have the second purchase permit with the old permit.

Still recall that there was no 2A movement in those days, no "shall issue" rulings, and supposedly the NY Permits were issued "for life" as long as you didn't get convicted of some offense. In the 1980's I lived in New Jersey, and when I got my Jersey permit, I was told that the New York regs had changed and I was supposed to call NY State Police and surrender the old NY permit.

I guess the anti-gunners were in early stages of ramping up.

Enough ramble.......enjoy the pics of my no dash Model 36.

Some great no dashes posted already.

No dash guns? I have a pile.....how about a pair of 686's? They are CS-1's 686 no-dash. One 4 inch, one 3", both in original configuration.

Interesting. I always thought the CS-1s were all 3". At least, those were the only ones I've heard of.

Off the top of my head my 60, 686, 342PD, 329PD are the only examples I can think of early on a Sunday morning.

Only three "No Dashes" in my stable.

The Model 60 and the Model 58 were duty guns and fired throughout my career. I have no idea how many rounds went through them, but they are still tight and functional and take pride of place in the vault. The Model 10 is unfired as far as I can tell and is a very early example of the snub nose version of the model 10 as it still has the very thin (skinny) sights.
