FYI

I was informed at Academy this morning I could order from them on line. So I did. I ordered 10 CCI AR Tactical 300 count 22lr from them @ $23.99 each. Shipping was $7.54. Tax was $20.41.

Also my local Academy is getting reloading supplies in.

All I can say is I have a confirmed order for 10 boxes of 300 count CCI AR Tactical 22lr.

Largest quantity I could order was 2 each of the 50 round stuff, and 1 of the 100 and up.

I really don't know what to say.

ITEM DESCRIPTION CCI® Tactical .22 LR 40-Grain Rimfire Ammunition

ORDER QTY 10
UNIT PRICE $23.99
TOTAL $239.90

Nice grab, I just ordered the maximum quantities on all available 22lr. One or two boxes. I think it came out to about 700 rounds. And then shipping was $13.50 and taxes were another $4. It came out to just about 10 cents a round. I cancelled. Wish I could have ordered more than 300 rounds of the CCI tho.

Thanks for the heads up. You grabbed a great deal and thanks for sharing.

Well I received the shipping confirmation. The real surprise in this transaction is the shipping cost of $7.54.

They are only allowing you to put one of those CCI 300 round boxes in your cart right now. What can anyone do with one box especially with the same high S&H as if you bought more?

They are only allowing 2 boxes of 50 of the Blaser 22 ammo!!! that's only 100 rounds! Oh wow...

*EDIT*
They want to charge me $13.70 to ship a box of 300 rounds and 4 boxes of 2 different types of 50 round boxes. A total of 500 rounds will cost me almost $14 to ship for a total of $51.05. I also canceled the order!!!

If anyone cares, I, for one, am not playing the .22LR game. If I see some ammo for sale locally at a fair price, even with a purchase limit, I'll buy it if it suits my firearms. I certainly don't need "AR" ammo for a Hi-Standard Trophy. I'll leave the scalpers' prices; the races down the aisles at opening time; the hanging around the ammo counter for hours; the wives, girlfriends, brothers, sisters, buddies, AND KIDS et.al enlisted to buy YOU more ammo before anyone else; the sunglasses and clothes changes in your vehicle so the clerk, you hope, won't recognize you when you go back in to try to buy more. Does it sound silly? "Why I reload!" :)

So tell me, how did you find an easy way to reload .22LR ammo?

Hi, I am new on this forum. I checked out Academy, very good place....my problem, I live in California.......I don't think they ship ammo here.
I need 22lr cci mini mags. I am buying a new Smith and Wesson 22 pistol. I have a Sig Mosquito.......It's fine as long as I use the cci mini mags.
I hope I can use others in my Smith and Wesson. I have some Remington Golden bullets, but afraid to try them in the Mosquito.
Very difficult to get ammo around here, except at gun shows where you pay a premium price.

I ordered one of each cci box and yes they rip you off on shipping, they changed $7 for shipping each when they were both in the same box. Sort of like a scammy ebay seller.

Well the 22lr just arrived. Imagine 10 boxes packed in a much larger box with no packing to keep the boxes from spilling out. That is what was delivered to my door.
