No Mag Disconnect AND No Warning on Slide

If you do not like the warning (and I did not) you can buy the M&P with the magazine disconnect (and no warning printed on the side) and then remove the disconnector lever (and then install part #1787, which is a spacer spring, for $4.00, from Speed Shooter Specialties).

AH: I was only half joking, I have bought with out the disconnect since I do not believe it to be a good function, but someone may never test it and may find that it will not go bang without mag when they need it to go bang.

Yep that works great, did it with my FS M&P45, it's nice not to have that graffiti on the slide. That would be the easiest solution for the guy with the disconnect and the warning.

On mine, it's not a warning, it's a selling point!!! I'll take a gun with no mag and 1 in the pipe ready to fire any day!

I'm glad my Shield does not have that warning. If you need that warning you should give some serious thought about having a sidearm.

Every Shield I've seen has the warning if it doesn't have the mag safety. It appears the CA compliant version (187021) has the disconnect and no warning on the slide.
