A couple months ago I was complaining that we just weren't getting any of the warm weather that was sweeping the country. It didn't need to be 100 but high 60's would have been nice. Now as we approach the end of summer, we still haven't climbed out of our spring weather. I can count on both hands the number of days this year that have climbed into the low 70's. Even then the days have been cloudy. One thing I have noticed is the proliferation of great big slugs. This is the Oregon Coast and slugs are not unusual but this year we seem to have gotten a bumper crop. I'm sure it has got to be the weather. I've lived in this house for just over 23 years now and I have never seen anything like it. At least something is enjoying the weather (I guess).
