I need suggestions for some type of display hooks for handguns. For a number of years I have used plastic peg board hooks and have been well satisfied up until right now. I have had two of them just break on their own accord and dump a couple of guns. The first time it happened I wrote it off as a one time occurrence, the second time I pulled everything off the board. I now need a way of rehanging them in my vault. I am open to any secure means or anything that any of you have had good luck with. Thanks in advance for your help. Joe.

Joe: For peg board, what about regular metal pegboard hooks, that you dip in the liquid plastic, like what is used on tool handles. Also, using regular pegboard hooks and plastic air hose tubing/IV tubing. Available at fish tank supply stores, and in various sizes.

I used the metal peg board hooks with rubber tubing slipped over them that come from small windshield squirter hose you can pick up at the auto store.
Joe, if it's for display, how about wooden dowels on a rectangular slab of wood sheet/board affixed to your wall, etc. If it's for storage, how about staple gun or screw on some velcro strips to the pegboard, and wrap at bbl and stocks?

Check berry'sbullets.com. They have swing type wall hanger for guns.
