Norinco 9X19 infor needed

I saw some Norinco 9X19 ammo for sale at the gun show yesterday. The boxes were gray with big black letters that said 9X19MM, and in smaller letters Made to Military Specifications. It is 124 gr. brass cases and brass colored FMJ bullets. The rim has 9X19, 93 stamped on it.
Is anyone familiar with this ammo and is it worth buying? Also could this stuff be corrosive? I did a search and didn't fine anything on it. Thanks

I would be cautious with it and clean...however my experiences with Norinco rifle ammo is that it's quality..non corrosive stuff.

This being the commercial 7.62x39 and .308 Winchester ammo.

I've had Norinco 9x18 Mak ammo too..and seems like I treated it as corrosive.

I have about 1,000 rds left stuff shoots good as far as I remember.
Not corrosive.

I have shot only a few hundred rounds out of a case of 2,000 I bought
several years ago. It is good clean non corrosive ammo. Better than
several other brands of imported 9mm ammo. I say grab it if the price
is right. Primers seem to be a bit hard as the indentations are very small but they all go off in my guns.

Fired 50 rnds of it yesterday, clean stuff. No FTF and as other posters said, non-crossive.

I just bought 5 new boxes of 9x19 Cal 124 grain round nose brass bullet, with brass case mfg by Norinco.
Looks absolutely new.
Paid 5 bucks a box.
The "internet" info says it is non-corrosive, and shoots great.
My plan is to use it for target practice.

I had some years ago that would not extract from my Browning BDM. Evidently if you have a tight chamber, it may stick. All of my S&W Gen 2 and 3 9mms had no problems with it. It would also stick in a Walther P88 for the same reason. Dave_n

I seldom shoot factory ammo, but bought several boxes of the 9mm Norinco years ago; still have a few rounds. It functioned perfectly and always went bang, but, as I recall, it wasn't particularly accurate - probably about the same as most inexpensive bulk ammo.
