Naw== my taste runs to:

"The Parting Glass" from 1200-1300 Scotland and Ireland. Will bring tears to the eye.

"Come on out, ye Black and Tans"=about the Troubles. If there's any Gaille (English) around, there may be a fight!

If I'm feeling sentimental (spelled "M-O-R-O-S-E"), then "Siul a Ruin" or "The Patriot Game" or "Óró, sé do bheatha abhaile".

Or, if in a good but rowdy mood: "Up against the wall, redneck mutha"

I haven't had a drink for many years, but I'm three quarters Irish. I love the music, and a fine pub song is a joy.

I think the Irish, like the Welsh and the Russians, are born singing. In Wales and Russia, they're born doing it in four-part harmony.
