Jeez man, you even SAID IT RIGHT IN YOUR POST.

Do you think kids under 21 are not drinking any beer?
Do you believe that MORE LAWS make evil people do less crime?

We can both agree that mass murder -- already illegal, right?
Yet they do it anyway?

Stop wigging out. Cops came to this kid's house some -THIRTY- times in the months leading up to this massacre and yet he was never taken in to custody and kept all his firearms. Systematic failure at every turn and you are talking about adding more turns so they can fail at those as well.

Gun laws are not going to prevent psychotic killers from killing.

I think people would be more willing to buy some kids a beer, than they would an Assault Rifle; given the fact they changed the age limit to purchase weapons!

1. There is no correlation between violent video games, violent music, violent movies, and violent acts.

2. The Broward County School District and Local LE had an agreement in place that essentially said that crimes committed by students would not be reported as such, and would be dealt with "alternatively," so they could say they did a good job of "preventing" youth crimes, which meant improved funding. This is why the Parkland shooter (I refuse to use his name) had so many complaints against him that went nowhere. He could've been charged and arrested on multiple misdemeanors and at least one felony, but wasn't.

3. Blaming inanimate objects and those who use them legally will continue to distract people from pursuing solutions that will actually work to protect people.

4. History has shown that when access to one type of tool is restricted, those intending to do harm will find another way to accomplish their goal.

5. Countries with even more restrictive gun laws than ours have similar, or even higher, rates of mass shootings.

6. As long as the media continues to give mass killers the notoriety they seek, there will continue to be mass killers, regardless of what tools they have access to.

While it is understandable to respond emotionally to horrific tragedies, rationality, critical thinking, and an objective assessment of the facts must prevail. To do otherwise would subject all of us, not just gun owners, to the whims of those who feel that giving up liberty for the perception of security is worth trampling on our rights.

Adding more infringements on our rights will do nothing to prevent someone intent on doing harm from doing so.

You'll still allow them to go in to the armed forces and be issued a rifle, bought & paid for by the taxpayers though, hmmm?

Dude you are going to blow a nut with that rambling rant. My "Kids" although I prefer young adults, turned out just fine. What is up with the generalization of this generation being so much different than past generations? I raised a Educator and a Senior in College and they are quite productive members of society.
My friends son passed on a 6 figure job at the family business to join the Marines, because he wanted to.
Every generation has had it's misfits and criminals. And the other 99% lead productive lives like us.

NRA

Ive been an avid shooter my whole life. NRA member for 20 years. But, there's got to be a change in certain gun laws. In light of all the recent shootings by stupid kids. 18 year old millennial kids should not be able to purchase ANY Firearm. Most of these kids nowadays are so delusional from violent video games and violent music Their not trusted to drink a beer, They should defiantly not be trusted with an assault weapon!!! Its a different world now; than it was when most of us were kids. As a matter of fact I feel that anybody w/o a gun buying history, CWP classes or being affiliated with a shooting club, wanting to buy an Assault Weapon should have to take Class's sponsored buy the NRA or an accredited trainer. I'm not saying "banning" platforms like this , but make it if some "nubbie" wants one, they should be able understand the system like the military would make you Understand the system. Theres got to be a way that these gun salesmen understand to look at "fishy" scenarios. Some dude walks in wanting an AR/AK and 3000 Rounds,10 high cap mags, Bump stock and have never owned a GUN before? Whoa, if that don't through out a RED FLAG, Warning Sign ! We need to ban together on this; or our 2nd Amendment Rights are in serios jeopardy.

And just how is any of this caused by the NRA I ask?

Randy
