Nutnfancy review of the 15-22

Alright! It's about time.

I'mm swapping my trigger out for a RRA 2 stage now. I'll make a review in a week or two.

I just watched it last night you beat me to posting it ;) Good review.

That guy really cracks me up with his multicams and store-bought tactical vest with a thousand pouches on it. His reviews are ok, but nothing says wannabe like the junk he runs around in for his videos. Cut the cheese man and just review the gun.

I also always get a huge laugh out of how he makes such a HUGE deal about weight and ounces. I get it, when you're packing 60 pounds it adds up, and that is logical and makes sense - but then he goes out of his way to point out differences in some items like he did in this video for example; one item was a whole 1.5 ounces lighter so he gave preference to that particular item. nobody cares about 1/10th of a pound.

He's definitely a personality, that's for sure. I watch his reviews because he does present a LOT of information, it just takes 45 minutes to do it.

I also like that he's pretty fair and unbiased, and explains why he thinks a certain way.

He has gotten more full of himself as of late.

I also think it's kinda funny how he goes on and on about weight all the time, yet he's got a plate carrier style vest with more junk on it than ever. And saying a .22LR as a good survival gun? Yeah, maybe on weight, but good luck hunting anything bigger than a raccoon or taking down humans who are threatening you. Possible, but I'd sacrifice the 3 pounds for an AR with .223

He's chairforce, what would ya expect? :D

Chairforce... Lol.. I like that..

Meaning Airforce, I think he's an Airforce Reserve Captain or something.

Just want to clarify in case you think it meant keyboard commando. Not that it's not a total stretch, but he is an officer in the armed forces.

Regardless what people thinks of him...I like his reviews/videos. Very informative and he pays close attention to details...alot better than the rest of the videos on youtube.

Amen to that! He does thorough reviews, and is for the most part unbiased.. if it has FTF's etc. he says so. Ive heard him even have a few..not many but a few negative things to say about his favorite.. the Glock. He gets a bit deep into a few ouncesof weight here and there. For most users it wont be a big deal, but trust me if you humping it for miles and miles, on various terrain.. hills, snow, etc. with ALL your supplies onyour back every pound DOES count!

I think his review was spot-on.

He spoke of 15-22 reliability and accuracy, and that the Sig522 outperformed in these areas. As well, he talked about the advantages of the 15-22 being an AR platform and light weight.

As an owner of both the 15-22 and Sig522, I found little to disagree with.

I found out about this gun because of him so: Thanks nutn!

Yeh, he seems like a good guy..

Air Force wings are made of lead, Navy wings are made of gold.. ;)

Makes sense. I've run into more than a few USAF colleagues who seem to be trying to make up for the fact they don't fly jets by outfitting themselves with all sorts of "tactical" geegaws.

To be fair, the same is true of many rear-echelon types in the other services as well, and I had more than my fair share of big @$$ knives and whatnot dangling from my LBE as a young infantry LT.
