Did anyone watch this or attend? From my living room it sounded as if half the fans booed him, but did not know if that was for his performance as President or wearing the Sox jacket?

I actually wasn't able to catch the beginning, but saw the pitch later on in a replay. He pitched an in the dirt ball, but he was pretty much straight on.

He actually was quoted today as saying he had never really played baseball growing up, so this was a new experience for him . . . and he was nervous. They let him practice though before the game, which was nice.

Kids growing up in the Muslim schools in Indonesia miss out on things like learning how to play baseball.

Besides its the U.S. national pastime, so anyone who hates America has much as he wouldn't play it anyway. No surprise there.

it's also nice that the rest of america is fighting debt and unemployment, losing their houses etc and he has the time to catch a game.....

I wasn't there and didn't see it, but the buzz on the internet is that after Obama threw the first pitch, some idiot started chanting "Obama! Obama!" and he got booed for doing it. That proves it, Obama can't be American because he wasn't raised with baseball and probably doesn't like Apple Pie, either!
