Howdy all,

My M&P 10 just arrived. I have an MOE middy and love it. I was wanting a semiauto accurate 308 and read tons of reviews. It seemed per the reviews, that big smith was that. On this fourm, I seem to see many folks concerned about accuracy of the big smith.

Question 1. What should I expect? I'm hoping, with practice to have a light semiauto MOA rifle.
Question 2. I cannot hurt my MOE middy, is the big smith as durable?

Look forward to getting to know some of you.

I've been happy with the accuracy mine has with iron sights. I'm working to make it even more so with various modifications but roughly 3 inch groups at 100 yards using only iron sights isn't bad IMHO.

At the indoor range, rounds were hitting the same hole. Hopefully we'll continue this trend.
Next test is 50 and 100 yards.
I think the big smith wants to be oiled.

Love the way it handles, the weight, etc... just can't get get it to shoot. I know... but I'm not a novice and I've been through lots of ammo. I have a post above seeking a little help. In all this seems to be an isolated case but if I can't find factory ammo that will shoot in this rifle... well, lets just say I'm a little frustrated at this point.
