Marlins are notorious for building a team and then immediately gutting it. One either has to suck to be a Marlin or being a Marlin sucks.

No, that was NY Met Pete Alonso and it cost the Mets a run desperately needed later. In general, playoff baseball is hard to watch; watching NY Met baseball is even harder.

P.S. I remember when the regular season ended on a Sunday and the World Series began that Tuesday. Of course, those were the days when men wore suits and ties to ball games!

Watched some October Baseball

Saw some great Pitching, some really talented hitters and one undermanned Braves team bite the dust. Have been trying to get to know the Orioles team since my grandson was drafted by them this August. If I'm able to understand what I've been told, the Orioles team doesn't have a player over 27 years old, this presents a tough challenge making the Big Team but he seems happy and willing to work at it! He played at UNC Chapel Hill for three seasons before he was drafted.

Better not hold your breath. Apparently there has been no activity between the parties for the past year and there is no final rendering of what the stadium will look like. Observers are commenting on how irregular this all seems.
