I have a .700 H&H Nitro Express in my collection. Interesting to look at but I don't have any interest in ever firing a rifle chambered for the cartridge.

the cigar in the background looks pretty interesting as well!. The label looks like a Fuente.

I came across a 30-06 size cartridge in my late Father's tool box necked down. Seeing as he worked as a tool and die maker for Hunter of the old C&H reloading equipment fame I was curious as to what it was. It turned out to be a blank probably from his Army days in WWII and not the rare round I hoped for.

Well , got a bunch of old and obsolete cartridges around.

My .401 Herters PowerMag could be considered an oddball round, but since I also have the gun , , ,

The .455 Eley (aka .455 Colt) is not the same or as well known as it's little brother , the .455 Webley.

Got the gun for those too, a 1918 Colt New Service.

Don't have a pic handy , but I do have a few rounds of 6mm SAW. An experimental US light machine gun round from the late 60s-early 70s. Made at the old Frankford Arsenal , they were made with a lacquered steel or aluminum case.
