They've forgotten the skilled conman's trick of telling the truth often enough to keep the mark guessing.

Instead, they lie about EVERYTHING and people have just tuned them out.

as it stands a well known someone tossed out, with great passion, a wad of primordial ooze.
It may form up into a proposal, perhaps a bill, but either require that wad of ooze to grow some legs.
I don't think it will do much more than extend a nub like an amoeba.
the results of CCW and SYG laws have proven to have an overwhelmingly positive effect ... it works, only a fool would let it get trampled.

The politics in this thread belong in the 2nd Amendment forum where they're within the rules, but other wise I don't think any of this will distract the big gorilla from his bananas.

I think the politics of the issue (not the thread) are the driving force. All this faux outrage is to designed to whip up the mob and divert attention from much more serious issues facing this nation and this Administration.

Lemme see if I understand the left's objection to SYG laws.

When you fight back, you harm the BG that started the problem.

This makes it unsafe to be a BG.

Therefore, since BG's typically are the welfare crowd and dem voters, this is not good for their base.

This means we need to sacrifice ourselves for their benefit.

Every time Al and Jesse can stir up something they make a lot of money off of it. We had a local case several years ago that they jumped on until it was proven that the victim killed himself in a very perverted way. Even though they ran off and were never heard of again Jesse still managed to sign up few more Rainbow Coalition members who eventually quite paying their dues after the "Baby Daddy" scandal. There is absolutely nothing honest about either of these guys. They're in it for the money and I think a lot of folks are finally beginning to realize this.

Yes...and Al Sharpton is now on the NBC payroll (owned by GE) for about two million a year.

Local news reported app 70 people showed at the fed court house in Tulsa yesterday for NAN's 100 city rally.
IMO, both obama and holder will do their song & dance but in the end I think they both are smart enough to leave this alone and let State's right prevail for what they've voted in.
Sharpton and others like him will ride it for all it's worth though. Hope they shut up soon as I'm getting tired of hearing it and I haven't even followed any of this.
