I went and I saw. Lee was there, vacationing I assume. Only the second time in 5 years I've seen him at his table. This place must be hard work!
Keith Brown was sitting with him, too. As were a host of others. Joni and her dad came. Jack Rutter was at his table. Of course Dan was there, guarding the door and keeping track of all the wayward flock, and which way they went. Tim Bandy was carrying around his dad's old 1917 commercial to sell.
Interesting guns. Lots of ammo, especially .380 auto. Probably 75 or 100 boxes. Primers were everywhere, but priced as low as $50 a sleeve, and more often $70 per thousand. Too rich for my blood. Bullets were scarce.
Of particular interest was the K22 Outdoorsman. Nothing spectacular, or even anything to distinguish it from others. It was, fairly, a 95% or better gun. Box and gun... $2800!! wow.
One well used old M&P, postwar S815,000s for $375, and a twin from maybe the following year. The less old one looked better. But the early one had prewar Magna's!
If they weren't so beaten up, just the wood should be worth the asking price. Oh, both guns had boxes. The early one ragged maroon.
The Fugates (I've never met them.) They apparently bought out an estate some friends were marketing for a widow. Everything except the K32s. One a 16-2, the other a 16-3. I can't for the world understand why they'd leave those two peaches sit. As bad a rep as they have here, they do seem to pay with American dollars.
