Hello all, I recently found these stocks in an old filing cabinet underneath a crazy amount of target stocks all thrown on top of each other. Can't believe they survived unharmed. Anyway I had to try them on something and the only correct vintage was my 28 ND. They are now removed and waiting for "The One" to finally be reunited with an old 44. I'll be heading back to that filing cabinet this week for some more Easter egg hunting. Still have a 1/2 drawer of targets and full drawer of magnas to go through.

It’s an old shop, very small. Became friends with the owner, and got talking about stocks. He pointed me to a large 4 drawer filing cabinet. It’s unbelievable. Its like that old wood and steel kinda throw back 80’s place. Has maybe 2 or 3 polymers. So, thinking I’ll bring a pizza and spend Friday going through the rest of it. Got another nice set of non diamond checker K’s also. Hopefully I find some diamond magnas.

I was going to guess an old shop. Back in the 1970s, especially cops, would put Pachmyr grips (or a fancy wood grip) on and toss the OEM grips and the blue box. I would have an attic full of boxes and grips.

😳
Wow, I have never found anything quite that nice. congratulations

Your 28 no dash is almost as shiny as a 27! I have a 6" no dash that shipped 1960. Diamond Targets for it. Bob

Agree Tom, can we set up a “go fund me”? Lol. Figure if every member throws in 10 bucks we could get one with those fancy boxes they come in. Haha.

Thanks, couple coats of renwax maybe. Probably the lighting too. Wife buys these antique type bulbs which gives the gun a kinda brassy look

Well don’t let them just collect dust in an old attic

Sell them to the rest of us in the forum! 😁

That 4" 28 is BEAUTIFUL!!! I have a 6" no dash from 1960. These stocks were originally purchased by my Dad in the 1960's. Had them on a K frame. Perfect for my 28! Bob
