I have one for my Shield. Of course, I still have not received my Shield, so I can't tell you how it carries. But it is well made and I think it will do well for open or concealed carry.

i am carrying a 40c in one. i love it. it is very comfortable. the weight of the firearm is distributed very well and is easy to wear for hours. i can sit in a vehicle and not even know the firearm is on my belt. it is designed to be carried at 4 oclock. it is easy to assemble, but i think i may need to find something else to carry concealed for summer, due to the size of the gun. i notice that i am starting to print. i like this holster so much, i am considering going with the iwb for summer, hoping i print less.

I have an Old Faithful IWB holster and have been very happy with it. The parts are well made and durable, and it's comfortable to carry my Shield in. Plus the fact that they'll sell you a "kit" for less and all you have to do is assemble it is nice. I haven't had any experience with their OWB, though am interested in what others say becasue I've been thinking about purchasing an OWB holster for my Shield and would like to stick with their company.

I really wish I would have seen Old Faithful before I ordered my crossbreed and waiting the 8 weeks on my super tuck. I may cancel my order and order the Old Faithful. Or I could wait and compare both. Anybody with both already?

I got their iwb kit... It is ok... The gun I bought it for didn't fit the mold they sent me and the little t nuts aren't very comfortable and the fuel line bushings are kind of cheesy... I'd probably just buy a kholster for the next one... Same price and already assembled...

I think the "fuel line" bushings are an excellent idea. They allow you to adjust it very well. I can understand why you might think they seem "cheesy", but they work well and look fine once it's put together. I could see a potential problem with the t-nuts though. Overall a good company. Right now they are back logged about 3 weeks.

I also have a 40c and thats what this holster is intended for. I wear a Galco Double Time outside of the waist band and it isnt to bad but im thinking that leather will be a lot more comftorable than the plastic on the double time. I appreciate all of the feedback. The back log on the holster is about 3 weeks but thats alright. I can wait for quality.

i think they were backed logged about 3 weeks when i ordered mine too. it it was about a week and a half before i got it.

the leather is very comfortable...

i have a carbon fiber fetish so mine had the leather died black with the carbon fiber kydex.

I got mine all black. Thats another thing i like about OF holsters is that you can decide what your holster looks like. I just hope they are as comftorable as they say they are. Looking forward to getting the high rider. Im a little bit bigger guy and i hope it fits ok. Im 6'1" and in the ball park of 270. Hopefully it will still be comftorable.

I have Old Faithful IWB for the Shield 40 as well as the M&P FS and 40c. All were the Quick Assembly kits and the latest came within two weeks even though the order delivery date was out 4-5 weeks (that was 8 weeks ago). Not cheezy, they are a quality holster. The T-nuts pull into the leather and, once formed, this type of holster is very comfortable and concealable. This goes for full time carry in Florida's humidity and heat, shorts and tee shirts. The first holster had natural leather, but the black leather helps mask the visual shape of the weapon should the concealment garment briefly move away.

A few images for clarity. :)

Thanks for the pics df. That shield melts into your side with that holster. Can you post a pic of the FS the same way? I have an SD40 and am really hoping it isn't too hard to conceal. I just went 24hrs with it and an Uncle Mikes and it did ok as far as comfort and concealabity goes

Foxx Holster same thing and cheaper.

No, not really. Similar, but not the same. I like the fact that you have almosta complete flexibility with the Old Faithful in terms of kydex fit and that you can convert it to a different gun if you want. I like the Foxx though.

Old faithful is great. I have a IWB for my 9c and can sit walk drive etc with very minimal restrictions. Weight of the gun is distributed well and is a great fit.

Definitely recommend.

Hey guys thanks for all of the info! I have to say that old faithful is the best company I have ever dealt with. I ordered the High Rider OWB and when I received it the holster was built well but did not conceal the way that I wanted it to. So I called the company and they sent me a IWB and let me keep the OWB! I have to say that the IWB is a great holster and is very comfortable and I am a bigger built person. I will always stick with Old Faithful Holsters. What a great company!

Sorry for the blurry images. My phone images suck.

Wait until you have the IWB for a while and it molds in a bit. Nothing about the holster irritates or signals that it's there. Also, a good belt is always helpful.

And... you are correct about the customer service at Old Faithful Holsters. The owners, Thomas and Alicia Tedder, certainly have that "Go the extra mile and provide outstanding service and product" attitude that is pleasing to see.
