I have a very old lyman 6 hole turret press I think its a early t-mag orange body black turret . there's a bolt that screws into the body and the turret slides over it then you add two collets on the bolt and slide a cap over it to hold the turret .the bolt broke . lyman is no help .any one know where I could find a bolt.

I'd try taking the broken part to a machine shop.
Anybody competent at using a lathe should be able to make what you describe in pretty short order and for a pretty reasonable price.

There are several styles of Lyman turret presses. Does yours use the regular 7/8" dies or the smaller Tru Line Jr. dies? In any event, if you can recover enough of the bolt to determine the thread size, you might be able to find another bolt or have one made. I can't quite follow your description of the press. Can you post a picture?

Lyman has obsolete owner manuals on pdf , the manuals have exploded diagrams , showing part name and part number.
With the part number parts can be located , a lot of old parts Lyman still carries....but you have to know the part number and the name is helpful.
I just ordered all the parts to rebuild my 450 lube sizer, bought in 1973, and long out of production....but they had every part to rebuild it with and I ordered new everything.
First step is to ID exactly which press you have.
