Old M&P (I think)

Just trying to get a little confirmation here. I picked this up yesterday, and I believe it to be an M&P 1905 4th Change, made possibly in the late 20's? It is chambered in .38 special, 6" barrel,no model designation behind crane, serial starts with 460xxx.

Welcome to the forum. You pegged it. It wouldn't be designated a model # until 1957 and have it stamped behind the yoke until c. 1957-58.

That's a nice clean and unabused one.
