Id give an honorable mention to the Ritz Brothers but-they were a cheap imitation of either the Three Stooges or the Marx Brothers-I forget which?

Buster Keaton was the closets comedian to being a God-as far as I'm concerned:

I dont think We will see the likes of those Comedians again. again.

"Who's on first?"

Ed Sullivan used to have a guy on his show many times and I cannot remember his name. His act was to put two chairs about four feet apart and jump from one to another after drinking a glass of champagne. The more drinks he had the funnier the skit was.

I've always loved the Marx Brothers, Harold Lloyd, and Buster Keaton.

I had never really seen anything by W.C. Fields until recently. Wow! He was talented!

Now, whenever I need a good laugh, I play a clip from one of his movies. It doesn't matter which, they are all hilarious!

What was neat about that era of comedians is they were hilarious without being profane or vulgar.......something hardly seen today outside of Jeff Foxworthy and the Blue Collar Comedy tour guys.
