The op is about egregious anti-gun spending that I oppose. I took out the death benefit information because I do not disagree with that spending.

As designed, the House would start next FY's funding bills in the committee process when Congress opens anew. But that requires statesmanship.

To me it is just a way of supplying cronies with fat pay checks; political paybacks. Studies may be made with little or no true findings. However, I imagine most of these studies will include meetings at fancy resorts with fine meals and playtime.

they don't want to look in that direction, it would derail their whole agenda.

If weapons charges weren't eligable for dismissal with plea bargain deals, we wouldn't have very many repeat offenders, as they would be in jail still from the first offense.
