On-The-Hip program. Anxiously waiting

I participated in a SW MP armorer's training in November. As part of the program I recently received a SW MP tee shirt, hat and a certificate for the the discounted purchase of one MP 9 mm or .40 cal pistol in either full size or compact. I chose the full size 9 mm.

The range / gun shop that I work for has both sizes available for rent. I found I have a much better grip on the full size and it shows on the targets.

It has been a week since I ordered and the form stated to allow 4+ weeks. The wait is worth while for the price but darn , I am anxious to receive it.

I received my pistol. It took five weeks to arrive after placing the order. Definitely worth the wait. Thinking I need a compact now.
