I was very pleased to see that the made for tv mini-series {Once An Eagle} was released on DVD. I had hunted for a copy for years and finally found a new one on Amazon. Between last night and this afternoon I was able to watch it again. It was a great series taken from the book of the same title, which I might add is required reading at the Service Academy. Truly a great series with an interesting cast from the 70's.

Saw it a long time ago on TV, and read the book too. i did see a copy of the DVD at Barnes and Noble should have picked it up

I loved the mini-series and looked for years trying to find it on VHS or DVD. Finally found it about 4 years ago on VHS-just as good now as it was when the series was first aired.
The book is really "better" but watching it, the old Springfields, etc. is great.
