Brother's gun,2nd OOBD. It was sent back to S&W once and has had several hundred rnds run through it since.
This time it was Rem. 525 Bulk. I just glanced at the box and didn't see the "New and Improved" on it.
He is going to try buzzing the chamber. I watched a You-Tube, where the guy held his bolt back with the edge of a dime and was able to cause OOBD. Wonder if the chamber specs. are a little too tight. Never a problem with my DPMS. "So Far"

99.9 percent of OOBs are a result of a firearm problem, not an ammo problem.
Being 22's are dirty,esp. exposed lead and (some) can also be vary waxy. I'd say dirty chamber with a waxy build up.
