I thought this was an interesting read. I spent six months in Panama, three years prior to OJC so it all sounds so familiar. Things were already coming to a head. And while this article has some mistakes in it they are inconsequential compared to a lot of mistakes made by our military. I'm not going to bad mouth any one because this was an extremely complicated and difficult mission involving an incredible number of military units from across DoD. Much of it went very well, but some things did not. In the end the objectives were met and Noriega was captured and brought to justice. The video at the lower right of the page brings a slightly different perspective to the operation. Michael Durant of the 160th SOAR, (Abn) gives a fantastic account of his unit's participation in OJC in his book, In the Company of Heroes.
