Opinion on Eagle Grips

I have Altamont grips on about a dozen of my handguns, mostly Ruger Blackhawks, but also a couple of S&W and a Browning Buckmark. The fit and finish is excellent on all of them and they fit my large hands well. I prefer the Fleur de lis pattern, myself, but I'm looking for fit more than resale value.

Eagle grips are no longer made personally by Raj. He has a production line of relatives, etc. making them now. I've talked to him at the SHOT Show, and for what they are, they're expensive and there are other alternatives that are much more affordable and equal in quality.

I haven't any recent experience with Eagle grips but I know their grips from many years ago were very good.

I still have them on some revolvers from the 1980s.

The quality was fine then but I have no idea today.

I think Eagle grips can be nice but absolutely will not.
It would sell the same if it had say factory smooth targets.

Just from looking at both, it seems to me that those Eagles are really, really nice!! - those Olive Wood Stocks are gorgeous
