Opinions on WIN. Super X 40gr. 1300fps Ammo?

I didn't try it in my 15-22 but I tried it in my bolt action. I had several FTF that had to be rotated to a new strike spot and 2 that would not fire after multiple tries. That was the once and only try I gave the ammo. Your mileage may very but I can't recommend it.

I have some of the 37 gr hollow point stuff of the same"Super Speed" label. The label claims 1330 fps and I run it across my chronograph to see how close it is. 10 shot string had an average just under 1350 fps out of my 10-22 Clark. BUT...like Quark, I had 6 fail to fire rounds in the first 50 I tried. The ammo is quite accurate and has consistent high velocity, but terrible priming. your mileage may vary....

At that price shoot it. Its not saving your life ammo its range time ammo so in reality a ftf due to ammo every now and again isn't the end of the world. Out of a box of Winchester 525 I had 2-3 ftf due to ammo and over half way through my bulk federal 550 1 ftf. Comes with shooting .22 Id say.

Im gonna try and blast through it all next range session, w/ ten mags and 2 shooters hopefully take an hour or so.

Got some at Dicks. Ran good. A few duds, but none that seemed to have that "proofing" that federal sometimes has. If they weren't so much more expensive I would probably use them over federal.

At 2 cents a shot roughly that is a good idea. You did get a deal on them and I hope that you have better luck than I did.
