Some of you might find this interesting, if you have 30 minutes to kill. The second of two challenges to VT's magazine ban are before the VT Supreme Court, here are the oral arguments from yesterday. What do you think of the arguments from our side, the first 15 minutes? I find some of it troubling, in that the attorney for gun owners seems to offer suggestions of compromise regulations. As an aside, I joke around about the threat of invasion by overly polite Canadians...it was actually mentioned here!

Sadly, the chipping away at the 2A, and all the other portions of the Bill of Rights, has become commonplace and seems to be accepted by the public. There are plenty of people, perhaps now a slim majority of people, who are perfectly willing to surrender their rights and liberties for the promise of security and safety.

Rights became Privileges long before we were all born.

So we don't need to ban standard capacity magazines because we should limit who can own those magazines based on age, mental capacity, location and also ban people from carrying multiple guns. Who hired this guy?

Sounded like Marion Hammer from the NRA whenever she opened her big mouth here in Tallahassee.

I guess every state and maybe every large city will need a department of pre-crime.
